A week to swap a pretty much direct swap motor?

KingDingaLing 06-12-2013 11:46 PM

if you wanna call starting on it tuesday afternoon and him picking it up friday a week. new motor was back in the car by wednesday. new motor was basically stripped down and inspected to make sure there was no visual damage in the bottom end or top. re sealed with honda bond then prepped for install. a section of his harness was burnt and had to be repaired, hasport mounts installed. clutch installed. karcepts adapter installed. exhaust modified and welded back up then the car went threw a few heat cycles and test drives to make sure it was ready for him to take. once a couple small issues were taken care of like ac not working and temp gauge (multiplexer options in kpro), the car was ready to go with its owner.

Meanwhile we had other cars to work on also and squeezed his car in while we were waiting for parts for other cars we are working on in shop.

if anyone has any questions about pricing or would like me to source them a motor, please feel free to send me a PM.

thanks.

I would say thats about 3 working days, which is pretty quick, I have to call Acura a week in advance just to get an oil change appt.
