2000 civic sedan gas gauge problem
 

when I turn ac on the gas gauge goes to empty,any one have an idea where to start looking?

Check the blue 16 pin connector under the fuse box for shorts. The yellow wire with blue tracer is the signal to the guage cluster from the fuel level sending unit. Also check the ground bolt under the drivers door sill. Right behind the fuel door trunk latch under the plastic
