*PLEASE*Need help with OBD1 B16!!!
 

HEY! I just got a b16 EJ and just started having problems.. I ran diagnostics and got back a 3, 21, and a 22..of course 3 is MAPS...21 is VTEC spool solenoid valve and a 22 is for the VTEC pressure valve....I'm thinking I probably just need a new STOCK throttle body with MAPS, TPS, and fast idle, but if im wrong let me know...SO i'm thinking the TB and the IM arent stock because they look too wide...and tha MAPS doesn't bolt to the TB.. so it bogs at start up and wont throttle past 2 grand without choking and dying...anyone familiar with this horse shit? and how do i resolve those vtec issues? any and ALL help is greatly appreciated...-J

check your injectors too. On might be unplugged

ok so i threw on a Z6 throttle body and fixed the low choking problem..so MAP and TPS are where they need to be...but i'm still blinkin a 3 so somethins missing....

YESSSSSSSSS...FINALLY! i redid all tha ecu wiring...and all the codes shut up... im not trading anything anymore...i cant believe that kid did me like that after i was mad cool with him and gave him one of tha cleanest hatches with one of tha cleanest bodies around...i cant WAIT to see him in tha streets....soooooo.....there were a few shorts and i fixed EVERYTHING! thats how i do....now i jus need new o2 sensors and its flyin.....thanks for what little help i got!
