im thinking about selling my recaros and getting k pro installed..do you guys think its worth it? also how much of a hp gain should i expect to see ?

k pro is worth every penny, I loved it in my kswap. with out getting tuned and running a stock map maybe 3-15hp but the car will drive better and you can always change things move vtec to a high rpm for hiway use all that kinda of crap.

i deffintly want to get it tuned after i get it installed....iv read nothing but good reviews about kpro...another question where should i buy it from club rsx or from joe at locash?

It will provide you more happiness and flexibility with your car instead of some seats.

You can make all kinds of adjustments to your ride ranging from Idle, vtec window, launch control, check error codes, data log, pass emissions every time..not to mention you can get Joe at Locash to tune it..

its worth every cent...plus Joe always helps his customers even after the tune is done. Also, you can save your tune to a thumbdrive or email and never lose it :)

I got incredible gains after my tune with him on the Base...you should expect more with your k20a engine :)

But mine is less than 2 months old, bought it from joe. Comes with everything he gave me. It's the newest version with the optional 8 5v inputs w/ jumper.

IMO, If I had a k20a longblock with a K20a ecu running a ep3 transmission I would rather upgrade to a Type-s or Type-R transmission over Kpro first then get Kpro. Gearing in the 5speed sucks especially since the car is all motor. As you can see after he said he has a 6sp now I suggested going to your shop for the new ecu/tune.

will kpro fix my idle problems by any chance my car idles like poop

Actually, for quicker acceleration, the EP3 5 speed trans is significantly better than the Type S.. It has a 4.7 final drive and a shorter gearset.. :)
