I think the customer ended up paying just under 8k for the gate and the gate operator installed.

Yes , it is aluminum. I have no idea what it weighs though. If I had to guess I would say 150 lbs.

The funny part is that the first gate I welded for these guys was because they were just too busy to do the job. They got spoiled on the first gate and now want me to weld all of there aluminum gates !!

I def. Appreciate seeing this stuff. I've been building stuff like this for almost two years now. It's awesome. It pays more in most cases,and its different! That fence is badass! Well done.

the customer is a quilt maker and the design in the middle is a very typical hawaiian print of a local tree we have here on the island. She asked to add the print somewhere in the gate .
We had an outside shop laser cut the center section .

Makes my diamond plate steel gate look like a rusty pile of shit. Oh wait, my gate is rusty. :)

Good thing that's aluminum cuz that mother would be heavy as fuck if it was ss-40.. Curious what gate company did you do that for?? I've been doing fence and iron for five years for a company in phoenix..
