car turns off while making a left turn
Built grs never had problems,
Im driving down the road in my boys car after a tune up (same as always [plugs, wire, oil, cap and rotor, filters, fluids and brakes]) and the car shuts off after a left turn. he got his pump swapped to a used walbro three weeks ago and the owner claimed it had less than 3k on it so since i was driving i bought a new one and swapped them out and had the same problem. Comp, fuel pressure, spark are fine redid the timing and nothing, feels like the fuel pump is loosing pressure when it turns left only and no cel and if its a hard left it completely cuts off and throws bank one lean but cel is gone when we turn it off and on again. Any suggestions? |
U checked the screen for debre?

If u mean iac then yes, that was my first thought since it was free and take 15 mins. Tried that before I bought the pump

Installer error in fuel pump install
|
Pretty sure it was done right, he took it to a shop, he took it back and they said there was nothing wrong with the install. Checked diy videos also and it seems everything was done accordingly and its the same way I did the first one.

Have you checked to make sure the fuel filters are good? Car doesn't have any tank rot getting sucked up? Maybe check all your wiring too and make sure nothings loose.

U need to narrow the causes. Drive it w/a fuel press guage u can see, mabey taped to the windshield. It's loosing air, spark or fuel. Figure out which system. We might have some ideas then
