Battery indicator /charging system indicator not cycling on and off before starting issue
History . Had a hacked up auto ex harness in my hatch with b series in it when I bought it was poping fuse 15 and all sorts of cels
Replaced with 5spd ex harness today all cels went away but secondary o2 No more poped fuses but the battery indicator /charging system does night cycle on or off prior to turning car over. My car sat for 3 weeks drove today for first time and car died when I was autozone. Person there hooked up some machine to test alt says battery was shot Got a jump start drove home less than a mile away threw battery on charger Fuse 15 still good speed sensor and everything working fineb Could a bad alt or shot battery charging system not to work Car details 96 hatch with jdm gsr Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk |
It's the harness your using it's causing the vtec solenoid to have power even with the car off .

Hmm how can I check that do I check wires for power ? With no key in

Get some wires. Unplug the sensor. Put the extra wire into the plug +/-.
Then run the wires to a 9 volt battery to the +/-. Use more wire and connect it too a led bulb which you can buy at autozone. Connect the +/- if the light turns on you have power. You need the light to be off. When the car is off. |
