so i got a spare intake manifold i wanna throw on my ls
i want to clean all the carbon out of it before i install it tho
i heard there was intake cleaner brushes and i tryed a search but cant find then anywhere
theyre like a pipe cleaner with little metal balls at the ends of the wires
are those easier to use than chemical cleaners?
i got a five gallon bucket of purple power that works wonders with grease but i wanna get the inside nice and smooth for better air flow but nothing major

for carbon i would just use carb clean or brakleen. i honestly wouldnt worry about making it smooth. just clean it off with a spray

carb clean will do a good job.. i use to clean mine once a month...

it's not gonna get extremely smooth unless you polish it... in which case you would need something more than just a cleaner.
