What is your opinion?
looking for an opinion. Getting ready to list my 2000 si for sale and cannot decide what to list it for. I have spent a small fortune on it in the last few months fixing all the things the previous owner neglected.
Control arms ball joints bushing new belts new battery new tires aligned it so it drives straight and smooth only 140k and a clean title It has a few of the basic bolt on's like intake and exhaust, suspension upgrades. the interior is great and the body is pretty straight, but the paint is phoenix fried. everyone once in a while the cel comes on for a slow responding o2 sensor, but besides that its great. If you were gonna list it what would you ask for it |
3200
I would go to ebay, start at $1 with no reserve. It will work out. Trust me.
That would be realistic. ^^

Thanks i appreciate the input. I have been looking on craigslist and ebay a lot recently. most of the ones I see need work or has a salvage title asking for a big chunk of cash.
I have spent over 3200 in repairs in the last few months. I will keep searching other places to list it for sale |
Just bc you spent 3200 on repairs that doesn't mean you'll be seeing that money back. 3000 is just about right for price
I have been looking around this area. I cant find any 2000 em1 for 3k. I found a shell in phoenix for 2300. Maybe i am missing something here? |
What people's opinions are, what people list them for, and what they are actually sold for are 3 different numbers. Its a crapshoot.
OP - Best bet is to price it at what you feel is right. Post pictures. Maybe you might get 4k out of it, maybe not. Si's are getting rarer and rarer. But with that mentioned, the quality goes down as the years go by.
the thing you are missing is that everyone throwing out a price is smoking crack. thats what they would want to buy one for but that doesnt mean shit when it comes to people selling them. you wont find anything for the 3k range in si models. maybe a clean ex but si still command a premium price
Yeah I was just saying. I sold my 2000 fbp civic si for 4600 in 1 day and it had 200k lol
never go by kbb...
Bumping old threads I see, I'll play.
Ask $5k. People will offer. |
stfu obviously I quoted someone and the reply I quoted was deleted and mine was left..
I'll give you $4,600.52.
