Cluster mod.
 

I just recently purchased an EM1 with 125k on it. I also have another 98 civic with a Canadian spec Sir cluster with 256 kilometers on it. I want to put this sir cluster in my EM1 but I want to know how I can get the kilometers to match the milage on my var. I know tampering with a cluster is illegal. But I am not getting rid of the car any time soon. Who can roll back my cluster with out messing it all up.

It's not difficult

I will do some research on it shortly but I am still undecided that I want to do this and fuck something up.

Its really easy. I did it in a junk yard with a screw driver and some needle nose pliers. I had to do the same thing. Dead speedo, easiest thing was swap it with a working one.

If the mechanism is anything like my da's, once you have the speedo off you should be able to figure out how to get it clocked to what you want.
