is my d16y7 worth boosting?
 

So this is my first honda but I've always wanted to put boost on a car but I've heard that d series engines arnt worth boosting. I was just wondering what everyone's thought was and if I do it should I rebuild my engine first and how much boost should I push? My Honda will be my dd and I can't go too crazy with power because I have a 8month old any opinion would help.

No it is not worth it. Unless you rebuild it to handle the boost which gets pricey. The real question is what are u looking for power wise? If u just like the sound order the turbo muffler tip whistler

Single cam rods can take 200hp safely, after that you would need rods and pistons. A great budget build is vitara pistons and custom length rods

Yeah so no k series for me I can do the install myself tho
