good deal?
So I ran into someone today that has a good h22 Vtec head with intake manifold still bolted on for sale he said $200. Good deal? pro's con's on the h22 swap or at least intake mani?
sounds like a decent deal to me I dunno tho. |
go for the intake yo the h22 intake on the f22= MAD POWA!!! as you wouldt say
lol I was thinking about doing just that and selling the head. Just wonderin how much would that really be worth? or how much the head worth at least.
I like MAD POWA!!!! |
if its over 350 bucks dont go for it just buy skunk2 intake mani
He wants 200 for both so I take it that I should jump on it.
depends what intake mani it is get a pic and post it up here
and it depends on the condition of the too if they both trashed just buy intake mani from gamer4life for 100 bucks
they looked almost new aside from sitting for the last 8 months lol. Next time I see the dude I will take a closer look at it. What should I look for as far as the codes and stuff go.
I will keep that in mind. I have a friend who may get a accord wagon and we may do the h22 head swap on it to see who can get more out of the 2 set up's to.
the codes? just as long as its h22 intake and tb it will give you decent amount of hp and tq gain
Ah! MAD POWA!!!! lol sweet I am not sure if the tb was on it. Is that hondata gasket thing really worth getting for that intake mani? I hear yes and no but I can not find dyno spec's on this swap/stuff. throttle body spacer with that worth it as well? I can see making the runner's longer but I don't wanna go over board and get crap that won't do anything.
sweet shit. I already bypassed the coolant to the tb due to a leak lol. so no spacer and this gasket sounds like it would be better for like gas milage and long term temp control like freeway driving and such.
haha sounds good broski
haha broski long time since I heard that one. I gotta add I do like how the tb spacer makes that wistle sound lol.
yup im already doing this oh my h22 already have no heat in my cabin.. but do need to clean up the ghetto hose couplings that the previous owner did.. also im changing my vacum lines from rubber to plastic as rubber seeps air and plastic dosnt..
i wouldnt plastic becomes very brittle and crack and break easy
got it on my vette never had an issue..
u dont have to route it right on ur intake or block.. u can put it where ever want and wrap it all in sparkplug wire socks.. |
ah ok
u should try it.. i garuntee u will like it and man i can spell
plastic vacume lines?
They are actually hard nylon tubing, and I believe they last quite a bit longer than their rubber counterparts. You likely would have replaced rubber lines three times by now, instead of one set of the nylon lines in 20 years. They also resist the higher underhood temperatures longer than rubber, but it obviously has finally taken its toll by baking the tubing dry. You can replace them with either type.
hmm i see how much are they
anothe upside to plastic is that u can route it however u want to route it.. and still make it look pretty
haha cool
I think I get what you mean but not sure. think you can post a pic of it? I know there is something like your describing but also acts like shrink wrap. cool stuff hard as hell to find tho. |
na msd sells it... live wires sells it.. and ya ill take a pic of it and send u it ill pm u it. so we dont take up the thread
just post it here yo cuz i wanna see it too
will do. will do..
that true the h22 intake mani on the f22 gives u mad power??
