LS-S DA9 03-15-2015 07:43 PM

Hmm maybe I should stop being a baby and go for my bday.. lol just wish I had a better car for it.

Edit why can't I sign up for hdpe1 on the 12th? its only the 11th or 11th AND 12th.

Chuck Chainz 03-15-2015 07:52 PM

oh excuses!
Just do it already!

LS-S DA9 03-15-2015 08:09 PM

You aren't even signed up yet... :slaphands:

Sales@RC's Garage 03-15-2015 09:35 PM

Because there is no HPDE1 classroom on Sunday only. You cannot do HPDE1 without the classroom portion (which is Saturday).

LS-S DA9 03-15-2015 09:36 PM

Ahh thank you Ravi. Im fingers crossed I can make it the 11th then.

Sales@RC's Garage 03-16-2015 11:46 AM

No problem, I hope you can make it!

Chuck Chainz 03-16-2015 12:41 PM

Done! Registered for HPDE1!

BlueTeg 03-17-2015 01:59 PM

meh, not at West

Sales@RC's Garage 03-17-2015 02:27 PM

I vote always. LOL. Otherwise big bore ends up being a big TT session lol!

BlueTeg 03-17-2015 08:04 PM

On the bigger tracks like CVR and INDE it's fun.
West is just too tight for most of the big bore cars to get by without the small bore cars holding them up for more than a half a lap if they (the small bore cars) are in a dog fight with another small bore car.

dudeinpinkfit 03-17-2015 09:54 PM

Agreed. ... I think the big bore cars would hold up the small bore cars everywhere except for the straight.

Sales@RC's Garage 03-17-2015 10:10 PM

Meh i got held up in the turns a bit by the small bore guys, but that is what made it so much fun to me at east.

Obviously larger is better ;)

dudeinpinkfit 03-17-2015 10:11 PM

That's east though....

Sales@RC's Garage 03-17-2015 10:34 PM

I just like more cars. So sue me lol.

dudeinpinkfit 03-18-2015 03:36 PM

more cars makes everything better

BlueTeg 03-26-2015 06:01 PM

Fairly sure I'll have the turbo car ready for it's maiden voyage. So stoked to feel boost on track again!!

LS-S DA9 03-31-2015 01:15 PM

Picked up the same one as chuck chainz only 52$

Sales@RC's Garage 03-31-2015 04:30 PM

M rated not SA rated I take it?

LS-S DA9 03-31-2015 04:45 PM

Yes

Sales@RC's Garage 03-31-2015 05:13 PM

Dayam, only couple 20's more woulda got you an SA rated for multi impact instead of single impact!

But as long as you got something that will keep that noggin safe !

LS-S DA9 03-31-2015 05:24 PM

oh. I'm on a budget, not suuuper tight but still should watch my money on the higher cost stuff.

Sales@RC's Garage 03-31-2015 05:25 PM

Yeah with safety, there is still some great budget items that offer more protection for fractionally more. It's always good to invest in safety when it comes to HPDE/Racing. Can make the difference between minor injury to severe injury.

LS-S DA9 03-31-2015 05:26 PM

Yeah I get that I shoulda done a Lil more research first. Thanks for the info

Sales@RC's Garage 03-31-2015 05:30 PM

Np man, I sell tons of safety gear seeing as im the resident NASA vendor who does safety stuff lol. So i've seen both ends of the budget spectrum and there are definitely so many options out there!

Glad you're making it out!

BlueTeg 03-31-2015 07:25 PM

If you end up liking it and want to come out more often, you can always sell your helmet and upgrade to another one once you know if you'll be at the track on the regular... :)

Chuck Chainz 03-31-2015 08:41 PM

and that's exactly why I chose that helmet. If it's something I wish to attend on a regular basis then I would opt for a more suitable helmet. Hopefully I can attend more later in the year.

TheVolta 04-02-2015 09:00 PM

Kinda want to try out NASA this year at some point, eventually I want to do some TT events when I am good enough.

BlueTeg 04-02-2015 09:55 PM

Come out next weekend for West.
Will be one of the last nice weekends to run before summer sets in. See my sig if want to save a few bucks.

4dr_ed3 04-02-2015 09:55 PM

I'm always one step behind Chucksta!!! I want to try this out to just something always gets I. The way or breaks
