which main seal?
 

I have a 1990 civic with a single cam 1.5 zc swap. Is the rear main the same as the factory motor that came in it? what car should I order the seal for?

so vtec? the main seal should be the same as a d16z6 if it's vtec, and how do you know it's 1.5? i'm curious because i've never seend a 1.5 zc, most zc's are 1.6 sohc or dohc, in vtec and non... most 1.5 vtec's are labeled d15b sohc and in vtec and non.

I just always assumed it was a 1.5. its non vtec sohc zc. so it is a 1.6? and even if its not vtec I can use a z6 seal?

if it's not vtec you need a d16a6 seal, which i assume is the same as the z6 seal.

but yeah if it's stamped zc you have a 1.6 similar to the d16a6 in the CRX si and EF si and Civic Sedan EX.
