Ep3 trouble starting
 

So heres my problem... about a year ago my car first started showing signs that something was going wrong with the starter... with the car not starting right away i was able to toggle the ignition and get the car to start and it kept getting worse from there... taking longer to toggle then not starting at all... After buying a new starter it had improved some but the problem still came back... now first thing every morning the car will start but after then if i turn off the car, it wont start for the rest of the day until the next morning again. LMK what u think it is...

To me it sounds like you have a faulty starter. I had the same issue in another vehicle I own way back when.

was the starter oem or some crap from autozone? try this method once you start your car and ran it turn it off and then bang on the starter. After you bang on your starter and it turns on then your starter might be bad again. Specially if it's from autozone.

You can't really take any of these two's advice... Especially Kaotic, who obviously does not know where the starter is on an EP3, or the fact that you Damn near cannot touch the starter without removing either the bumper or the intake manifold.

Buy an oem starter from Honda, and go from there.

for sure smashed... the first starter i bought was crap so i was hoping the second starter i got from o'reily would be fine... now this is the third starter ive bought! haha... this shit is never ending!

It seems to be an issue with a lot of kseries cars. Hopefully Honda will come out with a defect warrenty
