Wanting to do this with my galant, The headliner in this car is already fabric, do I just lay new fabric on top? The fabric on there is really thin.

Heres a link of what the headliner is like.

soo im looking into doing this aslo and im just wondering as to what was the width of the fabric u guys used and how many yards long?? thanks!!!!!

Dsquared Upholstery 10-23-2012 10:27 PM

It depends on the car. Width isn't an issue, make sure you get 1.5 to 2 yards. My integra is 1 but it's really small.

Its best to have 2 people doing it and attention to detail is really key

i like the loctite spray. bleeds the least of most others. m3 90 or 91 is super strong but also bleeds through a lot. if you go with a fairly thick material like plether then its the shiz. ive done about 5 headliners so far. only hard part is if you want to do your sun roof (obviously you need this for it to matter)
