looking for input

I have an lsv motor have stock ctr head with ctr cams on an ls block with stock ls pistons. Micro polished b20 crank. Eagle h beam rods. Skunk2 intake mani. Looking to get more power. Want to change the pistons wondering what I should go for. I have a chance to get ctr pistons. Would they be worth it? All input welcome besides shit taking. Thanks

Put b17 pistons in they are by far the best oem piston.

most people burn up the ctr pistons. you have a b18 81mm or b20 84mm?i would use cp pistons

So did you make the stock pistons full floating or just believe that crock of shit from the person you bought the motor from?

Changing pistons wont give u much more power than what you're producing right now..

X2 on the pistons. So you put rods in it, but left stock pistons?

ummmmm.... compression is everything when if comes to engine efficiency

I completely understand that but what im saying is with my stock b16, if I decided to install ctr pistons I really can't expect a huge difference in power.

I would get a set of 12:5:1 CP pistons and run e85. Also if the head is off send it out to get a CNC port and polish with a good valve job.

Yes I built the block I had a b20v witch blew up so I got an ls block and I had 85mm pistons witch wont fit in an ls so I had ls pistons put on the rods yes. The way I worded it at first seems sketchy yes I see that know lol but I took everything I had in the b20 out and put it in the ls. Besides pistons but im just going with b16 pistons

Man up, 13.5+ on E85! I am going to be running close to your recommendation in my DD turbo FRS. lol Hell I was running 12.5:1 in it with a supercharger on E85...
