okk sooo i have a 97 coupe with d15z1
yes i know why? but problem is tht im having issue starting it swap was done by a friend car ran good took it home now it wont start?!! i moved the wires around and tries to start soo i think it my wires that are mixed up anybody have the right fireing order for d15z1 |
firing order is the same as any other single cam

yes bcuz d15z1 is obd1 and my civic is obd2

i understand that part but they make jumpers for that reason
what distributor did you use on said d15z1? |
What ecu and wire harness are you using as well?
What caused it to stop starting? As in, did you mess with something after you swapped and got it home? |

there is your problem. you cannot properly time the car with the distributor like that. get the proper distributor and a obd1/2 distributor jumper and that should fix the problem :tongue:
