Speaking of dl. Hit 590 x 1 the other day. Was the most I've ever hit in training. 2 weeks after tearing my quad lol. Really would like to go 630-650 at my meet in a few weeks.

Went 617 squat/391 bench/633 deadlift. 1642 total at 197.6lb.

I got fucked on my bench because the bar was misloaded. My second was supposed to be 407 and it was actually 418. I actually locked it out but got called because my butt came up and it was slightly uneven. Deadlifted 644 but hitched so got red-lighted


Won my class decisively.

I have you to thank for a lot of the info you've dropped on me over the last year and a half tho man, I appreciate it!
In the last 2 years I've learned so much REAL info while flushing out bullshit (eating within 30 minute windows, "gotta drop carbs to lose weight" type bullshit). So much garbage "science" you gotta sift through till you get to FACTS, then you still gotta learn your body and how it reacts, etc.

All the shit you already know lol

I'm still trying to find a day I can come learn powerlifting shit though.

I have moved to eating 5-6 meals a day and haven't increased lifting or cardio frequency but still noticed fat kinda disappearing. I am happy as hell!

What do you need laid out man? Cut your calories by 250 or so a day, and go from there. Should equate to 1 pound a week or so.
Are you currently tracking calories?

mentally tracking yea

I eat:

breakfast 730am
snack 1030am
lunch 1200pm
snack 230pm
dinner 6-7pm
snack 10pm

nothing huge, my breakfast and dinner are normally the highest calories, I am hungry throughout the day

Ok so you don't track...I'd start there. Download MyfitnessPal app and start actually tracking calories...or cut out 1-2 of those snacks if you wanna just try and wing it.

which do you think would be best to delete? the late snack is because I am usually starving before bed, the afternoon one is about 1-2 hours before I hit the gym so I am not starving before then

another odd question. I take my dog for a run in the afternoon, should I be doing that BEFORE or AFTER lifting?

what's your opinion?

For you, either way works. You're not trying to get massive or anything like that so it's not really a factor at all.
If it were ME, I'd do it after just because I wouldn't want to tire myself out prior to lifting.
