A/C problem
 

so I did a recharge on my own today and it started smoking so i assumed it was leaking anyway. anyone got a compressor for cheap please pm and let me know and what you think could be the A/C problem

Autozone has cheap refurbs I think...

what year and car.. what freon did you use?

1990 acura integra and some from autozone

im not to sure but thats not gonna work i believe.. autozone only sells r134 which cars 92 and up switched to.. most ef and da's run off of a freon called r12 which is illegal for non licensed people to refill due to the evaporations being toxic i believe

I think im going to take to firestone to get it recharge and have them try to find the hole if it has one

Did you take it to firestone?

Your clutch might have seized up, causing smoke to come from the belt rubbing on the stopped pulley...

best way to check for leaks is with dye and a uv light.

so anyone wanna replace axles on this car???if you can give a good price we will bring it to you asap...we are on a budget for this thing.oh yea the cv boots too

you have bad o rings, it wasnt SMOKING, that was freon
btw, you put the wrong froen in and now you may have fucked up your system
