Rob x3 06-14-2011 04:52 PM

it's $1000!!! wow...

marksdc5 06-14-2011 05:06 PM

clean ride. looks like mine when i bought it. what are ur plans for it?

Acurazor 06-14-2011 05:56 PM

HAHA yeah it is. And even more for us 05-06 guys. But if you want to modify the engine you're going to need it. But as posted above ^^^^ Plans?

Rob x3 06-14-2011 06:02 PM

i have no real big future plans. i use it for work and need it presentable and non-fast & furious... i'd be tasteful with mods, but that would be later down the road. if i did do something it would be:

1) Turbo, conservative tune for daily use
2) K20A with type R LSD tranny.

Mr.Burner 06-14-2011 07:31 PM

For starters i would suggest k-pro, a true race header, 3in exhaust, rbc manifold, 70m throttle body and DIC cam. Tune it and you'll be amazed...

You really need the 2.4 cause the 2.0 lacks the torque.

Or boost it and say good bye to the daily driver! haha

I will say, the type r transmission is WAY worth the money! And flywheel. I have them and its a night a day difference to the stock trans.

AZMeDic 06-14-2011 08:24 PM

Koyv90 06-16-2011 04:34 PM

josh 06-17-2011 03:18 PM

k pro is a must in the k series world. Get a TSX engine an some IPS cams

Dead Bird 06-17-2011 05:21 PM

my dream daily setup

Mr.Burner 06-17-2011 08:21 PM

Come by next week and i'll make your dreams come true.... well the least i can do is give you a ride.:wave1:

Koyv90 06-19-2011 10:15 AM

isnt the k24 si engine better then the tsx engine based on the natural higher torque and horsepower?

Rob x3 06-22-2011 01:58 PM

I bought this car used. How would I know if it has kpro or flashed, it already had some mods when I got it, it's possible it could have an ecu mod

Mr.Burner 06-22-2011 02:43 PM

Yup they finally wised up cause that 2 litre cant carry that heavy civic hahaha

If it had kpro im guessing it would have a usb port somewhere on the side of the ecu...What ecu is it that you have and i'll be able to tell you.

Rob x3 06-22-2011 04:59 PM

2 Attachment(s)
See photo. No usb port. Could it be flashed?

Mr.Burner 06-22-2011 05:37 PM

Deff no kpro there. As for the flashing, there is no visable way to tell...Maybe call hondata and see if they have the serial number stored from flashing???

heroyo 05-11-2012 02:34 AM

wait is this purely stock because I remember I saw one on craigslist with a k24 swap or something and a comptech exhaust, dont remember exactly though

TaylorDC2 05-11-2012 10:14 AM

For sure go the K24 route. Mine puts down some good power! Just with intake, headers, exhaust, rbc mani, and kpro im putting down 225whp and 185tq. And its a fun daily.

TaylorDC2 05-11-2012 10:17 AM

And just spend the extra cash to get the K24A2! Not the accord block...

Acurazor 05-11-2012 10:19 AM

Since you have the type s already you can get a k24a1 or a2 short block and be set! Slap on your PRB head and go!

Acurazor 05-11-2012 10:32 AM

Above post says k24a2 which is a great motor but the rbb head flow sucks! Worst of all heads even worse than the non vtec crv head. But a k24a2 block with the type s head will net you great gain! But if you can stay away from the rbb (tsx) head

TaylorDC2 05-11-2012 02:58 PM

Thats my setup exactly!

sofia218 06-08-2012 08:10 AM

nice car..... build it how ever you want......kpro should be first mod...

Fix.it.again.Tony 06-08-2012 08:44 AM

kpro should not be first mod, intake/header/exhaust...then suspension....then Kpro with a tune
