i want to get my shit done, i can do alot of the work, i just want somone who is able of spraying and wet sand and buff, i will prepare the car for paint.... i just got to have somone paint it... let me know prices

metro tech high school does pretty good paint jobs you just have to buy the supplies and they will do it...

where is that at?

and how much does it normally cost in supplies?

This guy wanted me to paint his car + wheels Red and thought I was trying to rip him off when i quoted him $950 on a good PPG paint job cut and buffed and fully detailed................

I thought u had a guy that was gonna buy supplies and paint your car for $300, GTFO $300 will only get you the Cut and buff.

OR.....

Try macco they will give you a nice single stage paint job that will chip/fade in the first 3 months for $400

We all know that you quoted him a damnnn fair price. When he said 950 i figured something additional was in there :P the wheels filled it in. Cut and Buff alone cost a few hundred bucks, ide easily pay you 950 to paint my car w/o wheels.

Macco does such a horrible job I would rather rattle can my car using walmart paint, and keep the $388 left over.

Medina is a fair guy. I got quoted a great price for my ride with an additional bumper to be painted. I only wish I could take it to you now but we exhausted our refunds with buying new wheels for the wife and tires for mine. I will eventually get it up there to you though.

For $300 try the 50 dollar paint job and call it a day......

As far as ive seen on a couple of threads i have read nothing but good things about medina. I will go to him to get my new car painted once i get the car running right.:thumbsup:

I have never heard of such a price as that alone is the cost for a somewhat good paint and supplies. And also probably from Macco or 1 day Paint and Body as far as I know.

Dude painting a car its not cheap persay.... i spent like 750 total just for the paint n supplies plus 700 to the guy that painted the car but i also needed body work and it didn't include cutting n buffing... Honestly i don't know Medina but 950 for painting car/rims/cutting/buffing and detail its a great price you wount find a better deal!!! But that's just my opinion..
And my advice to you is go around shops getting prices...

sorry for the late response well you would just have to buy the paint hardner reducer and stuff like that u take it and get it sprayed for cheap they have paint room everything the money goes to there department to buy more stuff its on 19th ave and thomas

just regular supplies paint stuff like that i mean cheapest paint is white and black anything else like red is really expensive i use to go to that school took classes there im cool with the teacher i can get discount on paint at napa which is where they buy there stuff from...

i agree with you, i been looking into it, but i simply cant afford it, thats why i posted if anyone knew a cheapER place or if someone wanted to sell there ass cheap... u know helping broke niggas out like me... i aint saying no ones ripping off no one.. its a good price

Medina quoted me a similar price for a similar job. I'm sure if he was hurting for the work the price might come down a bit but obviously its worth the money since he IS booked out.
