Cleaning inside of headlights

Looks pretty bad. Honestly might be best just to pull out the headlight and open it up and clean everything thoroughly and then make sure you seal everything back up good. And if needed sand the outside with 600 grit and spray with a good UV resistant clear or have it done. I hate how bad head lights can pretty much ruin a car

Thanks man for the info. I'm definitely taking them off the car and taking them apart in order to clean them properly - just don't know what to use in order not to damage or scuff up the reflectors so much and the housing. I really appreciate your feedback.

Don't use steel wool. You kidding might as well use 80 grit sand paper.

what ive done in the past to open headlights is to bake them in the oven...here is a decent video

its kind of a pain in the ass but they will come open...might have to put them back in the oven if you arent fast enough and the glue hardens...for the outside i start at around 600-800 if they are really bad and have pits...then go to 1000 to 1500 to 2000. and then use plastic polish...outside will look brand new after that
