1st-2nd & Reverse hard to shift, WTF?! "06' LX 5spd"
 

My wifes civic has a hard time going into 1-2 and, itll, its really hard to select those gears, car only has 120k on the odometer. Anyone else encounter this? Im thinking shift cables, Im hoping its the cables since our warranty just expired.

Have you check the transmission fluid?

Has that trans fluid been changed regularly

Lol, wasn't me. I was looking for where it went but no dice.

I spent a couple hits trying to fish it out, then I just tied zip tie around it and pulled up with a screwdriver.
