My Plans:

Well building my "Teal Bitch" for Race Group didn't pan out last year nor this year, and has been put on the back burner til 2013!!!! I just had to buy a truck/trailer, and a new daily...DOH!! that's a way to spend $10K+ hahahaha



So only car of mine on track this year will be #1.5 still in FULL street form!!

2011 was the year of SEAT TIME!! I drove A LOT, and had a BLAST!! Even made it to NM for 2 events, and Inde!!! wOOt!!


2012, I'm going to jump into the ProAutoSports Hot Lap Series (TT) and try to stay on top of my class in HL4. I got some friendly team mate competition in the same class with Justin's CRX. Should make for a FUN ASS year between us and the Team.

Besides TT prep and competition, I plan to help out Justin anyway I can to keep him in Race Group and PS4. (Double Classing for him, NOT me)

Track is not only about running and winning, but having fun and helping support your fellow racers!!!

Selling all my Honda stuff and my two Toyota trucks and buying an E36 M3, maybe E46 M3 if I can afford it. Then I hope to tag along with some of y'alls if you'll let me...... Hopefully I'll see y'all this summer.

Run as many events as possible and get enough seat time to run Race group by the end of the year or the start of 2013

Year was gonna start good picked up a new cusco diff for my B16 trans, 2 sets of R888 tires, beefed up my spring rates and sway bars all to find out my rings are shot on my motor. So now do i rebuild it or put my k20 in tuat has been sitting in my other project. I may borrow my brothers b20/vtec and rebuild the b16 how i wanted to with my 1.7 gsr crank and rods then bore the block to 82mm and go hi comp. Damn stupid car.

Cj, are you running TT?!? TA?!? Both?!? Or just DE4?!?

I have 6 little plans to get installed :)

Have my r888's sitting in the kitchen corner, mounting them as soon as my wheels come in.
Pretty much replaced everything on my chassis. Steering rack, tie rod ends, wheel bearings, brakes, coilovers, clutch master, brake master, brake booster.

Determining ride height tomorrow, and getting her aligned.
Participating in IFO in tucson at the end of January, then finished with drag racing.

Tax return this year should be roughly 3500. Will be buying a z3 trans as soon as that comes in, guessing early february,, and paying off credit cards. Will have about $1,000 left to go towards the car, but will mostly go toward event registration. Seat time here I come.


(Sorry joser, this car is new to me, so I doubt it has seen any actual track time, but I posted anyways. I have 4 years of circle track racing experience if it matters.)


After this event January 14-15th, what's next locally? Anything in february?

Not likely to see track time other than instructing in the next year or two.

Plans are to find an ITR and likely just track the hell out of it:-)

Moving To Race Group
Honda Challenge H2 is the plan for the year. We have a lot of Hondas capable and not enough racing. Will see how the series plays out for the year. Should be fun having so many cars so closely classed. Ready for January event! New tires, new wheels, new motor, new tune, new safety equipment...all sorts of changes to try out.

Eric I'd love to do HC........GL BRO!! I hope to be out more to spectate and hang out with more friends, but Full Time Work, and PT Racing, plus other jobs = a BUSY ASS SCHEDULE!!

x2 Course is amazing.

Not a "track guy" but we're planning to take SK2(Street Tire class) season win. :thumbup: Gotta keep a Honda on the top right? Think I finally got the car setup were I want it and got comfortable with it where we can pull out some wins. ;)

i have 3 sessions of seat time lol. my goal = get as much seat time as possible this year!

2012 will be the year that I ..... sell the racecar. :(

It's pretty clear to me now that a return to racing is not in my near or even medium term future. The racecar has just been sitting around collecting dust. It's such a shame since someone could be out enjoying it like I did. If anyone wants to jump into HC2 or PTC or whatever the current classing is with a great car for WAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY less than you could build it for, hit me up. :) It needs a few things to be race ready, but overall it's in great shape.

Good luck to everyone campaigning this year. I actually hope to hit up a track or two at some point with my S60R once I get a couple drivetrain issues sorted out.

I'm going to think about rebuilding my Civic... while I'm racing a "944 Spec" and TT'ing a Radical. :-)

Every time I drive the Radical, I think less and less about the Civic though for some reason. Go figure! LOL
