EG Top Fuel Bar??

Agent Smith 02-13-2012 09:02 AM

pointless!!!!!

& yes I'm sure numerous fab guys could make it. Hit up Vince @ CTD

JDM-YML 02-13-2012 09:52 AM

It's okay my car isn't a track car.

And screen name?

cjb 02-13-2012 10:06 AM

Not only is it pointless but just not safe. What happens if you get rear ended, that bar is gonna go thru your head.

Agent Smith 02-13-2012 10:13 AM

Truth

JDM-YML 02-13-2012 10:20 AM

I'll be okay thank you.

And still waiting on number or screen name of said fabber

C.R.A.Y. 02-13-2012 10:23 AM

You probably haven't seen his build thread.... He isn't exactly about making sense.

JDM-YML 02-13-2012 10:26 AM

Lol I don't understand why there's all this nonsense. I just asked if someone could do this. Not everyone's input about them.

And cray get off my nuts, you make no sense.

Koopa Troopa 02-13-2012 10:32 AM

That's absurd. Almost as absurd as people thinking roll cages are unsafe for a daily driver cause you'll bonk your head in an accident.

I could make the bar if you want to wait till I move to Phoenix this summer. It wouldn't be difficult.

JDM-YML 02-13-2012 10:35 AM

Thank you... PM me so we can talk about it more

Koopa Troopa 02-13-2012 11:04 AM

Chances are you could build one without a welder and with everything sourced from a hardware store.

Koopa Troopa 02-13-2012 11:32 AM

I'm still trying to figure out how i can get the c pillar to work but for the b pillars you can just use a spherical bearing tie rod end big enough to fit the seat belt bolt and use stainless steel tubing for the bars. You'ill just have to get a tap so you can thread the tubing for the tie rod end.

Agent Smith 02-13-2012 11:55 AM

Haven't. Most build threads on here are bucket threads worse than the classifieds.

You posted on a public forum, the public will speak freely. If you want to ignore the advise of others, go ahead, by all means, whatever floats your boat, but you were at least informed.

Your lack of logic is absurd. I bet you think aluminum harness bars are nice & safe too? :smackself:

Koopa Troopa 02-13-2012 12:05 PM

What lack of logic? Enlighten me.

JDM-YML 02-13-2012 01:56 PM

Lol I'll look around some hardware stores

I will gladly ignore the misleading advice of others.

Rzarectah 02-14-2012 09:21 AM

I think it scores high on the cook factor but really what purpose would it serve? A miracle x setup would provide far better rigidity than that and still looks cooler.

young_ar 02-14-2012 09:32 AM

As a future fabricator I wouldnt give my opinions unless asked LOL. A niggah has 2 eat.

C.R.A.Y. 02-14-2012 09:34 AM

Troof

Most real fabricators " that shit is gay, but if you have money I'll make it"

JDM-YML 02-14-2012 03:05 PM

Still want this

Chinky 02-14-2012 05:05 PM

thanks for using pics of my car

JDM-YML 02-14-2012 10:16 PM

Sorry just needed examples, I'll take them off if you want.

Koopa Troopa 03-20-2012 12:39 PM

Any luck building this thing?

RICK's-TOWING 03-23-2012 07:28 PM

So stupid.....does absolutely nothing.

C.R.A.Y. 03-23-2012 07:33 PM

dumb

you can hang your clothes from it and park harder

failedabortion 03-23-2012 07:35 PM

It makes a nice coat hanger though.

Fawk cray I was in the middle of replying at work lol

adam 03-23-2012 09:29 PM

Is that what it's seriously for? Thats the only thing I could think of when I saw it.

rudsone 03-23-2012 09:34 PM

Colten79 03-24-2012 03:19 AM

onefst91hatch 03-24-2012 11:57 AM
