wana make some money?

i got a d15 b with a vtec head that is knocking. told its a piston ring... here is the deal... i dont know how 2 fix that. is there anyone on here that would help me out... i would pay. just need the car fixed by the end of the week. so if you know anyone or know how please call or text me at 602 561 0103.

You basically just said "fix what someone else said is the problem." That's a good way to get screwed. I'll gladly change a set of rings for you, but it's gonna cost you, and I give no garuntees that it'll fix your problem.

OOORRRRR, you could get an accurate diagnosis from someone who knows what they're doing and can fix it. Your choice...

its not very often a motor will knock due to rings... more than likely has a spun bearing if its knocking

fRoSt 08-18-2009 02:27 AM

^^^ agree... knocking usually starts with spun rod bearing, then from there figure it out one by one

Precisely why I made that post to help him not get effed having work done that was inefective.

piston rings knocking? who wonder who told you that? :drunk:

HONDABOI0392 09-17-2009 12:27 AM

i dont think that the piston rings are the prob.. start with the rod bearings and go from there

jordanherrera07 09-18-2009 03:53 PM

jordanherrera07 09-18-2009 03:54 PM
