b16a engine and ecu throwing check engine lights how do i check it? OBD1

jump the service connector located under the glove box and should be green in color and then turn the ignition switch on and watch the check engine light, it should flash. long flashes are multiples of ten and short flashes are ones
for example:
_ = long flash
. = short flash
_ _ _ . . = 32

p.s im not sure if in this car u have to turn the ignition switch on or not, jump the service connector then check the check engine light, if its not flashing then turn ignition to the "on" position (do not start the car)

you typically will have to turn the key to the on position just don't start it. jump the service connector and count the blinks. if you're car is already obd1 it will look like a little plug on the passenger kick panel for your car i believe, if it's got a jumper harness it's usually 2 wires left unconnected, for that you just have to touch them together.

i learn new stuff everyday. so where is the check engine light at on the b16a

it's under the intake manifold kenny... you gotta get your eyes checked sheesh.
