Remove glue without damaging paint?
 

3mAdhesive Remover! or goof off

MAN! ! ! ! What a day. It took a while, but I tried all the methods minus the ones I knew would damage the paint if not careful. I tried Peanut Butter.... Worthless. I tried cooking oil.... Worthless. I tried razor blade.... decent. The best thing that I found was a hair dryer, and using alcohol and goo-off. worked like a charm. All of the residue is off. and looks much better, washed off all of the residue and will wax it again soon

read it on other forums. I tried them to see if they were correct, sounded rediculous.

goo gone always works well for me. Keep in mind, there will be no magic glue remover that does all the work. It'll take some (by "some", i mean a "BUNCH") elbow grease.
