got a DC header and down pipe for my 98 prelude because the old one cracked. if i have the stock catalyst willl the DC downpipe still bolt to it, have to be welded or will i need replace the rest of my piping? an comment will most likely help:wizarddragon:

It will bolt up to it.
If you got the right one it will have a 3 bolt flange at the end. OH and good luck getting the bolts loose if things are rusted like mine were. I had to heat them up. |
They're gonna be a bitch to get off that's for sure, but I've seen those dc headers not line up more than once. That's why I got rid of mine.

it helps to have an impact gun w/ swivel sockets too.

Spray wd40 on bolts before attacking them. They are a bitch but a lil bit of elbow grease and patience you'll be golden.

its too wide. the holes for the bolts are too far appart. i think they did to, it looks like it would be for an F series

i have a top half of a dc header that is still on an h22.

you probably have one for an F22/H23...H22 ports definitely have a different pattern. All you'd need is a top part though, the bottom part will still work.
