so im gunna build a motor for my 09 civic but cant decide what to build chim in alittle biut guys and let me know what you would choose a k20 swap or a built and boostted b18

i was thinking the b18 just bcuz its a new civic and noone else has it im sure mounting would be difficult but im a fabricator so builting mounts isnt the problem but overall what would create more power (b18 would only be running 8 lbs ) on a 40 trim most likly possible a 35

the reason for doing a b series is just simply bcuz noone runs a b series in an 8th gen and the reason for not boosting the k20 is bcuz everyone does that if im gunna build a motor i wanna do somethnig not everyone has

no but im not even sure im gunna use an 09 or newer ive been thinkin i want the motor out of the 2000 teggy and i can grab one of those for around 500 bcuz im gunna rebuild the whole thing so i can block guard it and do all the good stuff

What you planning on tuning it with?

idk yet when i got there i was planning on taking it to a shop ive done turbo setup before but always had someone else tune it ive heard good things about import power house and a few others

pickin up 91.ef.junkies block and piston/rod assembly tomorrow now just gotta get a new crank and oil pump and pan then move to gettin a gsr head then well worry about acc.
