(Need some Help) Who wants to help me put my transmission back in?
just put the new clutch into my car and need help getting the transmission back in.
need the car before the weekend so anyone who is available tomorrow would be a big help! i am located in the east valley in queen creek. text me at 480 -234 -8641 dylan is my name |
Whoever took it out should put it back in...
i took it out by myself. however i cannot get it back in by myself
its the same process just the other way around, most people (even in here) wont help unless you pay them
i understand that its the other way round, just cant get it to budge by myself. an extra pair of hands with maybe more experience helps sometimes. just got over a broken leg so i cant lift the tranny up myself.....
Ttt
Do you not have a engine picker? I usually pull the whole swap out...
Enough with the bashing guys. Someone is asking if anyone would be willing to help out, and there is NOTHING wrong with that. If I would have seen the post I could have swung by before work, but now im at work. :(
thanks nelsmar. what about after work?
Hmmm i promised a friend we would hit four peaks. PM me your address, let me see how far you live.
that is the absolute worst way to take a honda engine out
try putting the transmission on the jack and use the jack to lift the trans up to the engine
then you have 2 hands free to line it up and get it bolted in |
see i would, but my jacks in my friends car. i was using an engine hoist to lift the tranny up to the motor using that little hook on top that way i can rotate it around and what not to clear stuff. i just cant get it in with my fucked up leg.
ah i gotcha man. can you wait till friend brings the jack back?
i wil have the jack aroun 3:30 today when he get outta school. would you be down to help?
You never PM'd me.
PM'd
Damn way to far out of my way. was hoping I could swing by for a few mins and just help you man handle it in. Sorry bud. :( Move further north!!! haha You are half way to tuscon
just about haha
how far in queen creek are you?
off of empire and gary road. 10 mins pass Elsworth loop
lol i actually know where that is at
pm me your address and ill see what i can do |
PM'd
Why? I can get it out ASAP and pull it out the top no problem
and i can do the same thing taking it out the bottom
engine hoist = engine hanging there swinging on a chain which could lead to possibility of smashed fingers, smashed engine bay, smashed fenders, engine falling on something or someone when i drop an engine out the bottom its sitting on the ground. never heard of an engine falling off the ground back in the day when you had a V8 and engine hoist yeah worked great |
I have only been able to do this with a jack... just get tranny on jack and work it into position... always a pain though...
thanks to all who offered but i just got the tranny in. thanks!
is it back in? I'm down to help, but you would have to pick me up..
Sorry but no.. Its way different, and alot more complicated..
Ha your like a virgin on prom night, you can't get it in!!! Lol jk man it is pretty difficult to put a tranny back on while the engine is still in the bay.......I would help but way to far from me...gl man
