ex harness to si ecu, help?
 

Just purchased an em1 ecu which I will be plugging into my ex harness which is wired to a jdm b18c(R). Given that the em1 distributor connector has 2 more leads for the rpm signal, will I have to wire these two leads to the ecu manually? I have been running a jdmb18c obd2a ecu with the harness adapter, but it runs fine without those leads.

This is for passing emissions by the way. Also, does anyone know if the vtec pressure switch bypass trick is effective 100% of the time? I would rather not have to purchase another vtec solenoid for the sole purpose of having a switch on it.
