need input on chipping my ecu
i was thinking of sending my virgin p28 ecu to phearable.net to get it chipped the way i want it. since it's only $80 dollars plus shipping.
so i woud like to know what are the specs i should ask for. i am running a SOHC with a stage 1 crane cam, intake, soon i'll add a full exhaust and headers. i am about to install a s20 transmission with a 7lb flywheel. any input will be appreciated, thanks in advance. |
You'll need to have the car tuned on the dyno to make it run properly.. I only charge $60 to socket the ecu if I am tuning the car as well..

business man right here ^^ support your local shops!

If you tell them what you have. They have a similar setup more than likely. What tuning program are you going to run is the real question here. I called LoCash and he wont tune CROME or Etune even if you own all the stuff to do it. So that means Hondata or Neptune. Where are you located?
|
Actually, I am an eCtune authorized tuner, so I will tune that, as well as Hondata, Neptune, Fast, Motec, etc.. If you have all the equipment and want to tune your car on Crome, I will be more than happy to rent you dyno time..

make sure whoever is doing the tuning knows what they are doing.
I personally would not advise you to run a chip; out of curiosity, what motor are you running? not all "SOHCs" are the same. |
wats da charge on the dyno rent time??
|
Look in the vendor marketplace under locash
|
$100 per hour for dyno rental, 2 hour minimum charge.
