b18b1 head help plz.... 1st timer here
 

well i cracked my head :idiot:. I've done head swap and engine swap on mazdas but this is the first on a honda. i'm doing a head swap of another b18b1 and i was woundering how do i adjust the valves/ valve springs? i know i put piston number up or just like the crank pully arrow facing up. then the two cam gears facing up same as crank pully. but how do i know what cam goes where and how do i adjust the spacing on the rocker arms to adjust the valve springs. wat are the spec on the spacing?

You use a feeler gauge between the cam lobe and rocker pad.

I'm too lazy and tired to type out more.

specs are in the helms manual, use a feeler gauge. honda sells a tool that makes it really easy, otherwise you will be holding a wrench and screwdriver and trying to insert a feeler gauge and whatnot. i havent done one for a while, but im sure there are how to's online.
