Daily DriverSlight Build GSR

Whats up guys,

I have a GSR motor in my car with 170,000 miles on it losing compression. I need a rebuild for it and I have been shopping around getting some quotes. So far what it seems like I going with an all motor set-up. Somewhere around 11.2:1 compression pistions at a 81.5mm bore. It will be a full long block rebuild so everything is being replaced. I am thinking about at the same time though of getting bigger fuel Injectors and a tuning system just don't know of any setup in particular. I have some money to spend but I still want to get my bang for my buck.

If anyone has any ideas for a bomb set up let me know. I wanna make this car a daily driver but I still want some horses to play around with.

Oh I also was a dumbass for buying these but I have Arias 12.8:1 compression pistions sitting at home ready for this engine thinking I was gonna do something alot more but it sounds like I can't use them unless I use Race gas. :( So if anybody has any ideas what I could do with them or anyone wants to buy them hit me up.

You can use those pistons just make sure you get a good tune... and if the cyl head pressure is to high then get a b16 head. It will drop it slightly and i hear they have better port entries.

Well what I am afraid of is putting those pistons in and turning on the car and to hear a loud knocking or something. What do you mean by a good tune? I assume its consisting of bigger fuel injectors but should I get better cams and valves as well?

Meaning being tuned very well on a dyno so you have NO knock... Cams sure, valves sure but not needed as much as the springs and retainers... injectors, stock ones should be fine.

Will stock Injectors really work? I didnt know you could use them with a tuning system?
