AP1 owner here as well. Saw some nice S2K's at the Kiwanis meet today. I can get the Mugen/Seibon CF Hardtops, Vortech SC's, etc. I personally prefer N/A for reliability which is why I rock the ARC box amongst other N/A goodies.

How many times have youu been in a boosted S though? N/A is ok for a novice but before I totaled my S I had the Comptech blower 9psi and it rocked. The ARC box is true JDM but for the a little more $ I would get a set of 4.77 gears if you truely want to stay N/A and feel the difference. You got a nice AP1, just get rid of the lambo doors. :p

I've been in multiple boosted S2k's. We've done Supercharged and Turbo here at TSP. Impressive yes, Reliability issues yes... My lambo doors were more of a marketing deal, I could have a sick ass engine bay setup and people walk by; with the lambos on there a lot more people stop to check it out and ask questions. If I didnt have a business to promote trust me that they wouldnt be on there. Thank you for the compliment though.

yeah when you get out of the hole first that tends to happen...?!?!as i recall you didnt pull on me so therefore pretty much the same ... trust me all my friends in fl have ap1's and ap2's every single race they have done has always been really evenly matched... other than out of the hole... and thats due to the torque diffrence between the ap1 and ap2... ;)

Horsepower : 240 hp @ 7800 rpm Torque : 162 lb-ft @ 6500 rpm Redline : 8200 rpm AP1 Horsepower : 240 hp @ 8300 rpm Torque : 153 lb-ft @ 7500 rpm Redline : 9000 rpm Soooooooo......the AP1 has LESS torque at a higher RPM..........Maybe you didn't notice me pulling on you driving through the cloud of dust:) I very much doubt Honda would revise this motor and not give it a little more.......... |
maybe we should just go at it again and not stop after 3 seconds of driving ...?!?!? and lets see who starts pulling after you shift and i get another 1,000 rpm before redline?!? ;)

plus i can say the same damn thing about the power between the ap1 and ap2
ap2 Horsepower 240 @ 7800 rpm ap1 Horsepower 240 @ 8300 rpm doesnt really matter ap2;s still have about 10 extra foot lbs giving you the better launch even quicker than my 10 less... |
