water spot help?
i have water spots on my windows and wont come off with windex so i need some info how to get them off?
Use some vinager with some #0000 steel wool. But be careful not to get it on tint.
its on the outside and vinager and steel wool dont work
try a claybar or just use wax.
ok ill try that in a bit and let you know
that didnt work either anything else ????
Buffer+water spot remover compund or heavy duty compound will work.
water spots on paint are the toughest things to get out. if you don't have an experience in buffing don't try it. |
what he said. fucking your car up would be no bueno
Wheel acid mixed with water will work. The water delutes it enough where it will be ok just DO NOT put it on plastic or ur engine bay etc because it will eat the plastic. Put it in a spray bottle and spray it on the window and let it sit for about 30 seconds and then wash it off with soap and a rag then spray it off with a hose, if there is still some do it over again. I do this on a weekly basic because I detail cars for a dealership and we get water spot cars in all the time.

humm dont know if i want to try that

Hear you go...this should work for you.....3M 39002 Perfect-It™ II Rubbing Compound will run you about $8-$12 per bottle depending on where you get it. This is a hand compound...no need to break out the buffer. This stuff work wonders...but you are going to have to put a lot of elbow grease/time into it...the buffer makes the job some much eaiser and faster...but then again if you do not know what your are doing then you'll just burn through with the buffer.
just an FYI about anything on 3M's lineup of Perfect-It...if it has the II then its a hand compound if it just say's Perfect-It then its a machine compound. You can find this stuff at almost any Automotive Paint Supply Store. |
ill try that
if everything fails use paint thinner, sand it, and repaint that area lol...
works perfectly some acid and steel wool usually always works for me |
It works like Wax put it on and let it haze then buff off I love this stuff it works great makes your glass look new just you can not use it on tint because it has a mild Pumice. I use this on the outside of all windows Mirror glass and inside of windshield then i use Stoner glass cleaner for the inside tinted windows |
to be honest this happens to me and once i wash my car it comes right out.... idk why urs is permenant
the longer you wait the harder it is to remove
and it take a lot of elbow grease such a pain i worked at a car wash for like 2 years and i saw so many dumb people |
rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle always works for me
amonia vinegar water mix all get a news paper and rub it on and dry it my grandma did it it works good
Repaint the window?
hey bro have you tried a straight edge razor?
yup
use #0000 steel wool add compound polish to steel wool pad on to the class where the water spots are and wipe off the residue it works and the best glass cleaner is invisible glass they sell it auto zone
