pricing for install on cams springs & retainers
 

yeah i am looking for some prices on installing stage 2 cams, valve springs and retainers and an apexi neo and tuning. i also have a throttle body and a fuel preesure regulator that i can install myself. i just have the proper tools to install the head stuff. i am looking to get this done asap. so the sooner the better. i would also prefer a local shop to do the work. so just pm me with prices thanks.

What are stage 2 cams?

they are skunk2 stage 2 cams. its just a more aggressive cam.

No company has came out with decent cams for the s2k yet, Brian Crower put his out on the market with no R/D, (no power gains) everyone on that group buy returned them to the vendor. Last i heard about Skunk they were in R/D. I would talk to Tony at UMS

no not yet but they should be installed by this weekend so ill be at speedworld this weekend.

yea i installed them and had it dynoed in cali but cant remember the name of the place. the results were that they put down an extra 34hp and like 28 torque all the way to 10k. but i am selling them now bc my father is buying me the rev hard turbo kit. so if anybody is interested in buying them. pm me price is $450. thanks

There is no way a set of cams gave 34 horsepower on a car that is almost perfect from the factory. The only way possible is if your cam timing was BAD before and with the new cams the fixed it but i highly doubt that.

The only person i know locally that had his CAMS installed in an S2000 had them installed at a local shop not saying who, but messed the cam timing up so bad the car dyno'ed 100HP ( i hope this wasnt your car) so as we speak the car is being fixed bye another shop locally, once again not saying who. Once this car is done ill post up numbers as im waiting to to hear cause i want cams myself but untill i see DYNO numbers in stone i wont buy something that doesnt produce. Ill keep you posted.

yeah, i have seen this car you are refering about too. After the install the guy put down 132 to the wheels, now that he actually has the stock cams in and got his car dynoed he hit 202whp and i forget the torque
