ok so i have a bolt on b16 as well as it on nitrous...i would like some abiltyies of tunning...jus a cheap lil way of monteriong and tuning..what are pros and cons to the VACF controller?? has it worked for you??

Get a real tune from locash, then retard the timing as needed for the spray.

I've known people that set their VAFC up wrong and they go to make a pull and BLAM-O!!! Engine is blown....

If you do decide to get one be VERY CAREFUL.

I would just take Josh's advice and just get a tune from Locash and be done with it.

it changes fuel range of 30% percent over or under. its works wonders for a cheap piggyback for less then 100 bucks. people can vouch for the Vafc tunes i have done. Plus you can have Rpm display, fuel, and couple other things i like it

don't waste your time with a vafc hack

x2 Its great for a little tune, but I would still suggest a wide band or at least a det can for "optimal" tuning with the vafc(or any other way of DIY tuning). But for the price I would get a 20 chipping kit from xenocron and a Willem chip burner with crome free. Either way you said you were going to go get it tuned by someone anyways, so I would go with the chipping kit and have the tuner take care of the rest, its better and more cost efficient. :) haha
