Does anyone know how to fix sunroof/moonroof issues?

It's brand new glass and f no if I wanted a base model that's what I would have bought lol

yay its brand new glass. the other part is messed up. time for a replacement. either that or take the whole thing down and fix it

No shit but what part needs replaced. My 2 year old could tell someone to replace something....

since you replaced the glass with brand new glass. OEM honda i am assuming :icon_eek:
then by default what else would there be left to replace? hmmm. maybe the track that the glass bolts to and runs on :crazy:

Yes oem honda glass. But the track is not all one piece. The are springs and cables and such.

and you paid this much for brand new OEM honda glass? for a 2300 car? thats :crazy:

I think maybe it's time for you to buy a car that doesn't need fixed. I'll be honest you create so many threads about issues with this car, one minute it's for sale the next you're keeping it. One minute your cruise control is messed up and you try 10 different things that don't work and then you give up. You go turbo, then you go NA. Your injectors are busted, then fixed, then busted, then up for sale, then not.

Buy a car that doesn't need touched or take it somewhere that can actually fix it.

Yes its a 20 year old car theres minor issues and i fix them, not take it to a shop that will do the exact same thing but charge way more..
such as honda wanting $90 just to diagnose the cruise control.. i fixed it for $25 instead of $115

makes more sense to ask here for tips/advice than taking it straight to honda/acura and having them fuck it up, replace extra bullshit and charge me more than the blue book of my car when its something i can probably dig into and fix myself.. its a hobby something i like to do, stuff to learn. why buy a new car when you get a flat tire or blown fuse? lol

this sunroof issue, obvious problem glass was cracked in half and the metal frame was twisting instead of sliding smoothly open.
so i started with the new glass/frame. im on here for help if maybe someone has had a similar problem and how they fixed it, or common issues in the assembly and if the part can be replaced or the whole shebang needs done..

And yeah shit is no longer for sale after someone buys it (like injectors)
