Rear diff
My friends rear diff went and he wanted to go with something stronger. I have read/heard that you can install a sylvia diff on the s2k...I was wondering what exactly does one have to buy in order to make this happen?

Here is the link, it's a 300zx diff you will need and if your freinds s2k is not f/i, its not worth doing.
Your freind might be better off going this route and maybe a diff cover from Comptech or Ricks |
thanx man....and yeah i think he might need it too. He ended up buying this and if he puts another stock one he will for sure mess that one up too

Nice s2k, didn't know it was f/i. He might be better off going with the Inline Pro kit and Nissan diff. I guess that makes 4 turbo s2ks in Phx.

I'll be using a Ford diff.(bombproof) on mine

my friend hasnt gotten around doing it, i actually might end up buying the car from him so i might have to do more research and get something decent but not spend 3k..lol

How much boost and whp are running? The diff. is the weak link on the s2k once you go f/i, hate to say it, but you will have to spend some money to upgrade the clutch and the diff. You might want to talk to this guy and see what he can work out for you, Brett at

he is pushing 12 pounds of boost..his number were like 331hp and 260tq, not quite sure though. I believe he has an upgraded clutch but i will look at his mod list again. Okay got his mod list and this is what he has
