piston ring help (turbo B20)
going back and forth on deciding what i should set the end gap on my new piston rings to.
as of right now, i am looking at .19 top and .21 middle. using stock pistons and rods. with hastings rings. if anyone could help i'd appreciate it. |
I would just set it up to OEM specs since the rings aren't going to be a problem, the ringlands will go before anything else.
|
Also make sure to compensate depending on fuel being used. I see you put "turbo" in your thread so be sure to gap correctly if this will be on e85, pump or race gas.

Ok cool. Thank yal. Car will be on pump gas only due to no e85 stations in louisiana.
Anyone know the OEM specs? |
