Jun type 3 camshafts n/a b series

Anybody have any experience with these? I was wondering what would be a good compression ratio to run with these?

I'd be more concerned on the valve train than compression to start. A stock b16 head won't handle them as far as I can guess... especially with a built bottom end

Obviously :) ^^^

So far I've read 13:1+ is a nice compression for these..

damn so if i replace my pistons i can run these cams?! or will my 10.75:1 do the job?? fuck my type r valve train

btw sorry, i didnt see the hr in the signature when i first replied.

Like colt said, 13 plus would be nice, anything smaller and the cams aren't going to respond well or make much power. They are huge and will most likely bind itr valve train. This cams compare to sk2 pro3's

Thanks bud

?? I don't think you understood the question.

I have used JUN cams on almost every b series combo there is. From mild b16's to gnarly 2.1's. They always make decent power. Some other cams will make more peak #s. Some will make more power under the curve. However with everything taken into account, they are some of the best cams out there. In my opinion. 11 to 1 compression and up, you will be fine.

I have run them on an H series for about 9yrs now at 11:1cr. They are pure magic! Until the introduction of the S2P3s they were the best cams money could buy off the shelf for the H series. The S2 Stage2s and Crower 3s were pale in comparison.
I teamed them with a SuperTech Valvetrain and they made power 1000rpms further than stock and provided awesome Pre-VTEC gains from 4500-5000. Ever see an 8200rpm H series? :)
I know there are more options available for the B series, but as a whole they are fantastic cams!
