Emissions Testing
 

For OBD2 cars does the inspector hook up a sniffer to the exhaust pipe? Or do they just hook up the scanner? Also do they do a visual inspection? I would be getting tested in glendale. Thanks!

basic visual may look under for a cat, no sniff test plug in key on and off and running, if you have a ck engine light you will fail. Other than that ob2 is very easy

They didnt look under mine and I have a test pipe, no CELs so I was good to go.

just passed with my test pipe too.. no cels, was good to go! didnt even bother looking under the car.
