Setting Valve Clearence
 

i need to adjust my valves but under my hood, there is a diagram on sum shit and it has the valve clearence i.17 e.16

but my service manual says
i - .08- .12
e - .16 - .20

and a couple buddies had a different number...

so whos right ?? lol

on an LS?

INTAKE: 0.006" - 0.007" (0.15mm - 0.19mm)
EXHAUST: 0.007" - 0.008" (0.17mm - 0.21mm)

on another note, the b18b was different :)

fuck i cant find a feeler gauge with those numbers...

i have .010 and up ... no .15
i went to checker and they didnt have it either...
wtf... ?

Lol yes you gotta make sure ur using SAE or Metric. The .15 is mm, the .006 is SAE. They are very common sizes :)
