need some help
just picked up an eg civic. b16 swap with a skunk2 tb, gsr cams, dc sports header. When i hit vtec while driving sporty the cel comes on and satays on until i shut the car off, then it goes off again. any ideas would help. i really dont know where to begin

so youre saying that i need to splice in a oil pressure switch?

Check the CEL and let us know what code its throwing, if its an oil pressure switch, the wiring may be incorrect.

allright so update on the problem. what i thought was tripping the cel was vtec engaging. turns out its when i hit a certain rpm above the 7500 mark. and with the cel light on i still get vtec. ive been planning on checking the code via the instructions i was sent, but does anyone have any ideas off the top of their head?

aight so i found the plug and jumped it. switched the key to on and the cel blinked 7 short blinks. i think that means a code 7. which would be a tps. any ideas?

could just be a bad TPS sensor or its way out of adjustment.
