Thanks Dave! We are getting the car ready for the "Import Face-off" this Sunday. Hopefully we can get a clean pass for once... we will see.

I also need to explain to those who don't know what the big deal is about why I posted this video...

This is the engine from my Accord. The fastest it went in that car was a 12.7 @ 108. Since it was put in the Civic, we have been in a perpetual state of breaking clutches besides having the car impounded for 6 months. We have 14 passes to date in the car with the quickest being a 11.57 @ 115. This is the first time we have broken the 120 MPH, so for us it was a big deal.

I have been trying to hit 120 mph for awhile now my self. The closest i have ever gotten was 118mph. And 122.63 mph at Tucson elevation is no joke!
So the power is there! Just gotta get down to 1.4x sixty foot and your set!
(i know easier said than done! lol!)
I will headed down on Saturday night assuming the engine surives the dyno!
ha ha. Just to give people and understanding. 122mph is faster than a 600cc sport bike at sea level! VROOOOOOOOOM!
Do you guys have a dyno down there? Im running into a major schedule conflict with work and stuff for dyno time.

2point6 02-03-2008 05:26 PM

Hope to see you guys too. Thanks Brandon!

We have pulled a 1.50 60 ft, but that might not be enough without using wheelie bars.

Unfortunately, untill Joe Sawyer sells us his or moves down here to Tucson, we don't have a dyno as of yet.... ;)

no2psi 02-04-2008 06:30 AM

1.50 sixty foot is very respectable! Thats cool, that your in tight with Joe. My dyno guy only does 9am t0 5pm tues-sat now. So no more 2 am dyno sessions.
Good for him but bad for me! So unless something clears up scheduling wise, I wont make it to the race. :( So if I dont see you there, Good luck!
And if you do get a dyno someday, let me know.
