YewllowDA 01-19-2007 07:24 PM

amazing
it seems to me its a motorcycle engine. and it was the early years of honda

Daddy_Digital 01-19-2007 07:42 PM

acutally it was a project car that the service dept. did a few months ago. its restored

EPthree04 01-19-2007 08:57 PM

pretty much was. most very early hondas were built off their famous motorcycle engines pretty much. i believe the 600 is 600cc and same with early cvc600s (early civics) or whatever is the same with the numbers on the name with the cubic cent. of the engine.

YewllowDA 01-20-2007 12:40 PM

ive also heard about the s800

mooshin 01-20-2007 02:37 PM

Those cars were far from motorcycle engines. Dual cam, liquid cooled, and 4 cycle/stoke. Almost every early Motorcycle they produced was 2 cycle.

tokyospeedpros 01-29-2007 02:11 PM

old school

Here you go guys. History of the S2000, its predicessors {spelling?} and other old scholl sick ass hondas. I know were not supposed to link to other sites but I figured they may let this one pass for its pure JDM-ness and just cool all around history.

Starts with the S360 in 1962. You'll notice the s### is according to the CC, wonder why the ap2 is not S2200. Things that make you go hmmmmmmm

Daddy_Digital 01-29-2007 03:55 PM

lots of good info on there. plus the car i took a pic of is in there too.

It was a honda motorcycle engine loosely based off of what has evolved into the CBR series of motors. badass shit :)
