i got some photos mostly of the wet T-shirt contest :P

The track prep sucked. First pass I went 10.1 @ 150, spinning the slicks through 3rd and 4th. 2nd pass was worse, never put it into 4th gear and went 10.6.. Car felt like it was ice skating..

Jake went 9.30 @ 160 though, testing out the new transmission for my car.. Once we get some cooler temps and good track prep, the red dragon will be in the 8's..

On the plus side, that was a big turnout for a summer event!

Track was great...If you turn the power way down lol. I ran a 10.1 @ 144 with 19-20 pounds of boost. Stupid boost controller wasn't working correctly for some reason. Oh well, things could have gone way worse.

Always nice to see everyone come out, I think the turn out was really good. Lets get some more race cars out!

I dont have any videos, but I'd like to see some of Jakes car if anyone took them, especially when it was throwing sparks after it tried to tear the motor out of the car by bending the sheetmetal on the drivers side framerail.. I'm disappointed that Honda didnt design the EK chassis to withstand 1000+ hp, lol.

well i had 20 people asking me why my brother was spinning so much.. then he said he only got a 15.1 @ 95, and that car does consistant 14.8s @ 96 with him driving.. so to have the same trap speed as his 14.8s then something clearly went wrong off the line (60ft).. so maybe my bro wasn't doggin it when you rode with the one time..

Correct spinning usually causes a higher MPH. You're kinda making the track "longer" in a way. Usually your E.T. will suffer though.

but i ran on some shitty steelies and was traction less thru
4th and came in at 90-92mph

i was told by both drivers that night that traction was no where to be found
so idk

maybe he shouldnt take shitty steelies to the track. maybe that was your problem. i mean really, the only people who should be bitchin about track prep is the high horse power cars who have stacks into there slick setup. not someone who grabbed a set of steelies out of there homies backyard with probably shitty tires. Anyone actually serious about drag racing should have a set of drag radials or slicks, something with soft rubber and sticky when warm. thats what the track is prepped for. im sure that high 14 second car would never spin on some 22in slicks. then he could be here tellin us how he hooked and broke shit

i was supposed to have some slicks there but my boi didnt sho up
im not bitchin about the tracks condition
i wasnt gonna catch traction on some 13in steelies
and that has nothin to do with wat we were talkin about
we talkin bout HIS trapspeeds and 1/4 times and he is not on steelies
